Up for sale Is a used Sakae quill stem thats is good condition. Not sure of the exact length but its for a cruiser or commuter bike since it has a raised neck. I can't call it new but you would never know the difference. It is is perfect shape and there are no marks on it at all. Light and stiff but just didn't look right with my new build. Item for sale is one Fuji Monterey 1.0 29'er mountain/comfort bike in very good used condition. Bike is 14" from bb spindle to top of seat collar. Or just 12.5" from bb spindle to top of top tube- good for petite rider, but i can comfortably ride this bike for short distances at 5'9" Frame is aluminum, and tig-welded. Front suspension is SR Suntour, and has about 2-2.5" of travel. Bike has suspension seat post and springer seat, so it really soaks up the bumps and smooths out the ride. Finally, the larger diameter wheel(29" or 700c) and wide tires(43) really give this bike a cadillac ride. Promax V-brakes have lots of life left, and stop on a dime- brake levers are Promax, and quite nice. Sram(Grip Shift) shifters are 3 x 9 for 27 speeds, and geared a bit higher, ... moredesigned to be ridden on the road(chainrings are 48/38/28 as opposed to 42/32/22 for'real' mountain bikes) Shimano Deore'mega 9' rear derailleur. Bike shifts and brakes perfectly. Wheels are true and round, and both wheels have 36 stainless spokes. Stem is adjustable height/reach so you can change your reach and the height of the stem. Tires look pretty good; however, sidewalls are beginning to'crack' and will need to be replaced eventually. Still good for now. Tubes hold air. Frame paint looks quite good- very few scratches. Pedals are quite nice. Overall, a very nice, good quality bike that's ready to ride out of the box. Approximately 27" standover height. Retails new for $599.
