. Reel I took apart to inspect ,has a clean bail trip and spool parts. This reel has great paint, fine scratches on spool housing., some rubbing on edge's. Bail closes firm works Excellent. works like a champ.. Smooth bail so wont rough up your line.. Aluminum Handle great. And inside also nice looking. 5 to 5-1/2" long. Sounds like a Mitchell. #9165595 which dates this in 1969 . 7th version. Thanks Mike
