Selling a barely used pair of speedplay chromoly pedals. Bought them for a bike build for my partner. But her leg/ankle just is not right for the kickout on peedplays. The pedals were used on a trainer inside this past month as we tried to make them work. I have the cleats that I'll include with the buy it now price. The condition of the cleats will give you a great idea of how little these pedals have been used. I'll try to complete the spacer. Bolts set. They're all mixed up with a box of Speedplay stuff I've accumulated over the years. This is a no reserve auction, so the pedals will sell if the minimum bid is met.

These are used Speedplay titanium zero pedals with third-party titanium spindles. The spindles are of equal quality to the OEM version. In fact. I prefer the hex key style that is a feature of these pedals as compared to the easily damaged wrench flats that Speedplay uses on their standard spindles. The color is black and the bearings run really smooth. They work great. The titanium version weighs in at 82 g per pair versus 103 g per pair for the stainless version. Please keep in mind that the spindle length on the titanium pedals are 50 mm versus 53 for the stainless version. The stoker crank arms both take left-side pedals. Why? I don't know, but the folks at my local bike shop say they've seen it on other old tandems too. VP pedals. Very similar to look pedals. You can actually use the same cleat! However the VP cleat is akin to a puzzle piece and comes into two pieces so that you NEVER have to adjust your cleat position when changing to new cleats. I used the same design for over a year and never had any structural problems with the cleat despite being skeptical at first. Metal cleat/pedal interface ensures long life. This lightly used pair of pedals cam OEM on a Shimano RX100 equipped road bike in the early 1990'd before clipless pedals trickled down to entry level component groups. These pedals were used for just a couple hundred miles before being removed and stored long-term. Note that one of the toe clip cages is cracked. Which happened when the plastic used for this model gets old and brittle. This is why it's hard to find these pedals being sold used on ebay with cages intact at all.This pair does come with the vintage cleat and all the original hardware. Look Keo 2 Max Pedals Up for bid out of my stash of road components is a nice pair of Look Keo 2 Max road pedals. These are excellent pedals that wiegh just 260 grams. The Keo's body is much thinner than past Look models due in large part to the fact that Look decided to keep the Keo simple by excluding features like Q-factor and float adjustment. This being the case. Look had to redesign the cleats used for the Keo(these new cleats are incompatible with pre-Keo Look pedals) Thankfully, it's still a 3-bolt design so you won't run into any shoe compatibility issues. The cleat uses Teflon at the tip and the rear of the cleats to keep them quiet and to reduce both the force required to clip out and the wear/tear on your cleats. For sale is a set of Avenir bike pedals with flat rubber platform inserts. These pedals came stock on my wifes Raleigh Venture 4.0. She only used them once on a short ride around town to try the bike out. Since she is new to biking. She felt more sure-footed using other pedals that have the plastic teeth for more grip.
