Up for sale is a 1968 Rupp Chevrolet Monza'Chevy Jr. My dad won this at an event for Chevrolet back in the 1960's. He drove it 4 times until my grandfather forbade him to drive it due to it's speed. It has been in a garage ever since! Anyway. It is in good condition with typical wear for the age. It is currently not running but is complete and no rust. The tires need air and it needs a good cleaning. It comes with a lot of the original paperwork. They are highly collectable and very rare. I would consider this a great mini barn find! It was used mostly for display at shows to complement my full size VWs or alone when I didn't want to bring a car out(car club events. Long distance shows, when judging shows, etc. It's also seen some limited parking lot time, and would be alot of fun for a child or small adult. For reference, I'm 5'6, and around 145lbs. The side bolsters are a little tight, but absolutely necessary to keep you in the seat when cornering. Overall, the car has low running hours. The fuel tank and carburetor were just replaced to get the car running again after 15 years of storage. There is some minor scratching of the paint down low on the body, most of which occurred during storage. The paint isn't show car quality, having been done in my garage. There are a couple of small sags in the clearcoat and a few pieces of dirt that could be removed, but overall it's a very cool little car, nice enough to display, but not too nice to use. Right now.
