hello for sale here i have 2 leather fly fishing fly cast wallets. Six old heavy minnow lures. I am unable to identify the manufacturer but the pictures should help you. The original owner had some classy gear. Judging by the fact that these came to me as a collection from a keen fisherman who left us many years ago. I believe that they were bought before 1950. Some may be unused as they do not appear to be damaged, more aged in storage. The one on the right and the dark one in the centre look as if the triple is attached and swaged on with silk or similar. The longest one measures 11cms overall.

A collection of eight vintage Devon minnows A collection of eight vintage Devon minnow trout spinners made up as follows: two silver and red bull-nosed spinners. One stamped with the word‘Hardys’ on the side with‘L’ on the fins indication left-hand spin; a similar one with‘R’ on the fins indicating right-hand spin and a black and gold bull-nosed spinner with‘R’ on the fins. There isn’t a maker’s name on the latter two although they’re similar in construction to the first one. The other five spinners are 1” length and made of brass– two brown and gold colour; two black and gold colour; and one red and gold colour. Devon minnows were sometimes notorious for twisting the main line after a period and the purpose of left and right hand spin was primarily to take any twist out of the line caused ... moreby using a spinner rotating in the opposite direction for an excessive length of time. The eight spinners have been kept in an improvised cigarette tin in which I will post them for safe transit. Proof of postage will be obtained and regrettably. I have for sale two Lemax Style Fishing Lures. Both Lures are unnamed but are true to the form of the Lemax Lures. Neither of them have hooks. The first lure is 2 1/4" overall with a body of 1 7/8" to the tail of the fin. The side plates are Mother of Pearl. One of them has been painted. The second lure has marbelised.
