This is a set of Merckx bend 3TTT Competizione handlebars in excellent condition. There's a little leftover residue from the bar wrap. But it should come off easily. I didn't want to get carried away and risk loosening the"heat treated" sticker. The sleeve diameter is 26.0mm, width is 44cm, drop is 18cm, reach is 13cm. These measurements are all approximate values, hand measured. It came off an early 80s Romet Super(Polish road bike) which was very well cared for. I suspect the bars date from that period, though I can't be certain. Unlike other Competizione bars I've seen, this one doesn't have the width stamped under the"MERCKX" label. Edge 31.8 carbon mountain bike handlebars. Edge became Enve. The newer Enve labled bar looks like the same desigh to me, but that's a personal observation. This one weighs 142 grams. My son who rode them doesn't have ape arms, so we trimmed them to an XC racing and single track friendly 23.25" width. It's in excellent condition, we're selling it because his new bike's geometry likes a riser bar. You're brave for looking at used carbon handlebars! Incorrectly clamping a carbon bar can crush the bulge and destroy its structure. It's not difficult to do. That's why we used our Park torsion bar torque wrenct to go 5 N*m on the face plate cinch bolts. It was connected to a Thomson X4 precision stem with a large surface area to disperse stress. As stated in the listing title this handlebar is a Cinelli from the eighties or late seventies and measures 38 cm from center to center for the width. There are quite a bit of scratches on the bar but the reality is these will all be covered by bar tape and what won't be covered is in very nice condition. Meaning no scratches. These scratches came from rude attachment of brake levers, they are not the result of collisions. These bars are true, unbent and undented. I can't imagine how carbon fiber is lighter but I suppose it must be as carbon handlebars appear to be all the rage. However for a few grams difference, and absolutely at no disadvantage in acceleration, buy this one and save hundreds! Profile Designs clip on style aerobars. These are profile's spring activated flip up style clip ons. They need new armrest pads. But othewise work perfectly. The length is adjustable. Generic China manufactured tapered steerer full carbon fibre forks. 1 1/8 steerer to 1.5 lower bearing. Steerer length 232 mm, 700c wheel fitting, crown race to enable fitment to a Cannondale SystemSix/SuperSix but will fit other tapered steerer bikes with the correct crown race, 43 or 44 offset I believe. Up for sale is a set of Shimano PRO series carbon Stealth EVO 44cm road bars with an integrated 120mm reach stem. A 130mm drop, and a 31.8mm clamp area. Very low miles on them, tape was only wrapped half way up once so they are in great shape- in the pics you can see a few grease smudges but this all wiped off with soap and water- no damage, scuffs or nicks of any kind- they look brand new. These really are some killer looking bars for a great price- find them other places on eBay for 2-3 times the price! Make sure to check out my other items for more cycling. Never dropped or crashed and in perfect condiiton apart from some paint flake where the stem attaches. Really comfortable with flat tops which are perfect for climbs. I am selling my FSA K-Wing Carbon Bars. Which are in great condition. I would give them an 8 out of 10. There is a little scuffing along the clamping area but this is normal and does not affect the bars. This can not be seen when they are clamped in the stem. The width is 410mm ctr-ctr. Drop is 145mm. I am also including the FSA"Control Center" for a bar mounted computer. The K-Wings are an excellent comfort bar. There is no reserve on this auction.
