I am selling a nice used Shimano XTR bottom bracket. Model is BB-M952. Spindle length is 112.5mm, which is the shorter of the 2 offered. It will fit either a 73mm BB shell, or a 68mm shell with the included spacers. Item is in good working condition. Some dirt and corrosion on the shell, but the bearings are nice and smooth, and all the threads and spline are in perfect shape. This was mounted on a backup touring bike that saw limited miles, along with a nice set of XTR M950 cranks that are also for sale in another listing. The crank spline is Octalink V1, and will fit the Shimnao XTR M950, M951, M952 series cranks, Shimano Dura Ace and Ultegra from the same era, as well as some others manufactured by Ritchey, AC, Profile Designs, and a few others. I never road this bb. I tried to use it to bolt up to an xx1 crank. But they don't work together. But works with my girlfriends xo cranks and other sram cranks. And works with Shimano cranks. Look at the Chris's king web sight to see if it will work for you. I guess I'm clumsy. Because I gave it a bad scratch. But it's basically brand new spins perfectly. It just has cosmetic scratches. The machined aluminium cups hold either full stainless steel cartridge bearings, or ceramic bearings in stainless races. Weight 109g MTB: Yes, Road: Yes, These custom. Swiss made bearings are double sealed, fully serviceable and removable which give much greater life span than stock units. The bearings are made(as all Hope bearings are) by INA and have been designed to run directly on the crankset axle, without the use of shims or spacers-again increasing life and reliability.
