Honestly, they are basically new. i think i strapped them to my bike once or twice(but i am more of a basket guy) The third photo shows a shoulder strap, the instruction manual, and some extra clip things. I'll look around for the second shoulder strap but cant guarantee i'll find it; if i do i'll include it. ANyway, these are great panniers. Surprisingly large. I bought this bag for my wife to use on her bike. But she used it a total of about 3 times before she lost interest in riding. MY loss is your gain. It's dusting, and has been sitting for about a year doing nothing, but is in excellent condition besides that. I have an older model of the bag that had non-rigid sides and a slightly different color, but it still works with Topeak racks and allows you to click it into place.

Description These bags were purchased in the late 80's. Very early 90's. Both are in excellent functional condition. The trunk may have been used once. It looks new. It has a removable hard box insert measuring 11" long. 5-1/4" wide and 6" deep, There are three outside pockets and a shoulder strap. It fastens to a rear rack via velcro straps. The handlebar bag has been used more and has acquired what looks like a bit of bike grease on one edge. The map case is still clear. It mesures 5" x 9" x 7" deep. This bag has been adapted to use the old Cannondale Quick Release System. It comes with all parts for that system including the two sets of shims to accomodate different handlebar diameters. There are two mesh end pockets which I noticed still contain the ... morenever used stabilizer bungees designed to run from the bag to the front axel. With the Cannondale system these are unnecessary. Frankly. I can't remember what the original mounting was, some kind of wire thingy I suspect, but the Cannondale was state of the art- still is I suspect as I can't imagine anything any simpler or more stable. The seat bag was an afterthought so we are just tossing it in. It could stand a good washing but is perfectly fine otherwise. Both pannier bags are used. All zippers work and are in good condition. There are no rips. Tears, holes, or repairs in the fabric. Other than some staining from use, the fabric is in great shape. Their original reflectors are missing. Panniers include the spring suspensions that attach to the rear fender eyelet. Panniers attach with snaps together at the top and Velcro on the bottom so when removed from the bike they're easy to carry. You can also attach a carrying strap on the top but they are missing a strap so I will include a strap that works for the panniers. Many pockets(two on the front and two on the sides) to organize your cargo.
