This headset cover replaces the usual fork claw and clamp via the AHead cap. The function of the Acros "The Clamp" is as simple as it is ingenious! First, press the fork and stem together in the bike so that you can largely clamp the fork by hand. You then tighten the stem screws. Next, tighten the small screw on "The Clamp", which will push the two parts of "The Clamp" against each other and create further preload on the headset play. This is how you set the tax rate as desired. And why all this? You NO longer need AHead claw and AHead cap! This is of course particularly interesting with carbon fork shafts or simply to have a clean look. ACROS also describes how it works in a short video on YouTube.
