I bought this helmet about 1 1/2 yrs ago for my son. It has a few very light scratches. You have to actually look for them to see them. It is DOT approved. There's a vent on top of the helmet and another centered on the back side for maximum air flow to keep you cool. The visor is removable with the original hardware. The chin strap is padded and is in perfect condition. The cheek pads are removable for cleaning. All inside padding is in excellent condition. It also comes with a draw-string bag. I find this to be well built and very safe helmet. I wouldn't have bought if it wasn't. Even if you don't buy my helmet I do recommend this brand.

I have had this helmet for a couple years and it has just sat in the box. I used it for kart racing and had only worn it about 4 times. It looks completely brand new. The helmet has no defects. I wore the gear twice and washed them each time.My Kawasaki V-force 700 ATV was orange then I bought a matching Kawasaki green 700 V-Force and went with the Kawasaki Monster Energy gear and helmet.
